2018 Merlot “Löß”

This elegant, delicate yellow Riesling exudes the fresh, slightly tart scent of grapefruit, lemon and green apple at the first moment you sniff it. Only gradually does the complex bouquet unfold its fullness: first with the exotic scent of pineapple, then with the characteristic yellow fruits of apricot and peach, accompanied by a touch of brioche. On the palate, these aromas are supported by a well-integrated, mineral acidity typical of limestone soils; in the finish, fresh citrus notes dominate the complex body.

This Riesling surprises with its fruity nose of tropical fruits, honeydew melon, peaches and physalis. The sweet and sour interplay means it literally dances on the tongue. The finish is very fresh and juicy.
